Partnering to Increase Homeownership
We believe that helping low- and moderate-income families become homeowners represents
one of the most exciting and important opportunities for the mortgage industry today. Radian is working
with housing agencies, government-sponsored entities (GSEs) and other lending partners on a broad
spectrum of affordable housing initiatives for typically under-served groups, including Native Americans,
immigrants, special-needs borrowers and many other first-time homebuyers.
As an innovator and problem-solver, Radian develops solutions to the challenges of the
affordable housing market. Here are a few of our initiatives for the affordable housing market:

finance agencies

- Fairfield Sweat Equity Housing Program
- Appraisal gap insurance, insuring the difference between the appraised value and
full rehabilitation costs of the home
